AMarkets ranks number 49 on TraderGuide’s ranking list. Our rankings are based on the cost of trading with AMarkets across the 16 most commonly traded global instruments. We monitor spreads during both the EU and US sessions and record the widest spreads observed.

What you need to know about AMarkets

AMarkets is a global forex and CFD broker that launched around 2007 and operates through entities regulated in jurisdictions like Comoros (MISA), the Cook Islands (FSC), and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines (FSA).

It offers accessible platforms like MT4, MT5, plus its own AMarkets App. You can trade over 550 instruments—including forex, commodities, indices, stocks, ETFs, and crypto.

Account types include Standard, ECN and Zero, with minimum deposits starting around $100.

What do we like about AMarkets?

One thing that stood out to us when testing AMarkets was the speed of execution. Orders went through quickly and cleanly, which makes a big difference when you’re trading fast-moving markets.

We also liked the range of trading tools built into the platform. Features like Autochartist, sentiment data and trade signals are all there to help you spot opportunities, and they felt genuinely useful rather than just being “extras” bolted on.

On the practical side, payments worked smoothly. Deposits were quick, withdrawals hit our account without delays, and AMarkets even covers transaction fees, which is a nice touch.

Finally, their customer support deserves a mention. Live chat was responsive whenever we tested it, and the answers were clear and to the point—exactly what you want when you’ve got a question and don’t fancy waiting around.

What concerns us about AMarkets?

The biggest drawback with AMarkets is cost. Spreads across the board just aren’t as competitive as what you’ll find with higher-ranked brokers on TraderGuide. In an industry where pricing makes a big difference to long-term results, this is a real sticking point. For example, the DAX spreads came in around 5.9, which is quite high compared to tight-edge brokers.

We also found that while the platform itself works fine, it doesn’t feel as modern or flexible as what some other brokers are offering. If you’re used to a cleaner setup with a wider choice of integrations, AMarkets can feel a bit behind the curve.

Education and research are on the lighter side too. The basics are there, but traders looking for more advanced insights or structured learning material may end up searching elsewhere.

Should you trade with AMarkets?

AMarkets can make sense if you’re after fast, flexible execution, low entry requirements, and plenty of instruments to explore. Their tools and fast payouts are solid pluses.

But, if your strategy depends on very tight trading costs across multiple assets—or if regulatory oversight and compensation schemes matter most—there are better options on TraderGuide. Overall, AMarkets offers a balanced experience: decent tech, good execution, but higher costs when measured against low-cost rivals.
