What you need to know about TenTrade

TenTrade is an offshore broker registered under the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) through its parent company Evalanch Ltd. That places it in the light-regulation category—acceptable for speculative or high-leverage trading, but not comparable to FCA or CySEC protection levels.

Trading is offered via MetaTrader 5 as well as their own browser-based platform, covering the usual range of markets: forex, indices, commodities, shares, and crypto CFDs.

One of TenTrade’s selling points is its funded trader/prop-style account programme, where traders can attempt evaluation challenges or opt for instant funding at a cost. Profit splits and drawdown limits apply, so it’s not free money—but it’s a feature that many traditional brokers don’t offer.

They have also built a basic academy section, including recorded webinars, platform walkthroughs, and introductory videos on trading concepts. It’s not at the level of more established education hubs, but it’s enough for beginners looking for structure.

What do we like about TenTrade?

In our hands-on view, TenTrade offers some features that appeal, especially for traders who value program variety and flexibility. The funded trader program is a highlight: it gives traders a pathway to trade with broker capital without risking their own cash. Having that option is useful, provided you understand the rules and constraints behind it.

MT5 is solid—familiar, well-equipped, and integrates well with custom indicators and EAs. We found platform performance to be stable under normal conditions. The broker also supports social/copy trading, letting you mirror other traders (a common feature these days), which can be attractive for less experienced users.

What concerns us about TenTrade?

The biggest concern with TenTrade is pricing. Their spreads on major indices are some of the most expensive we’ve recorded during our monitoring. The FTSE was sitting at 4.50 pips, the DAX around 4.50, and the SP500 at 3.00—levels that are well above what we’d consider competitive. Most low-cost brokers are closer to the 0.70 to 0.50 mark on these markets, which means traders choosing TenTrade could be paying three to six times more to open and close the same position compared to low-cost brokers.

The pattern continues across the rest of their instruments. Even in quieter market conditions, spreads rarely tighten to what we’d consider fair value.

Another point worth mentioning is regulation. TenTrade operates out of Seychelles under the FSA. While that does provide a degree of oversight, it’s not on the same level as brokers regulated under FCA, CySEC or ASIC. That doesn’t make TenTrade inherently unsafe, but it does place more emphasis on trust rather than strict enforcement when it comes to client protection.

We also came across multiple user complaints online about delayed withdrawals or rejected profit payouts. As always, such reports should be taken cautiously—not every complaint tells the full story. But the consistency of those themes makes it something we feel traders should be aware of.

Should you trade with TenTrade?

If you’re drawn to prop/funded account models and want to test your skills before committing your own capital, TenTrade offers a route that many brokers don’t. MT5 support, copy trading, and a broad product list all add flexibility.

But if your strategy depends on tight spreads, consistent low-cost execution, or you trade large volumes on indices and forex majors, TenTrade may not be the best fit. Their cost structure under standard accounts means you’ll often pay more than with premium low-cost brokers.

In short: TenTrade is viable for traders attracted by the funded program or flexibility, but cost-sensitive and professional traders should compare carefully before making it their main broker.
